FOUNTAIN (AP) -- A Colorado teenager hired men to kill his mother so he could use her money to get breast implants for his girlfriend, police said. Nikita Lee Weis, 18, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, said Fountain Deputy Police Chief Mike Barnett. His girlfriend, Sophia Nicole Alsept, and two men police said he hired, Juan Antonio Velez Gonzalez, 18, and Brandon Michael Soroka, 19, were arrested on the same charge. Weis' mother, Hyun Weis, was attacked Thursday with a small wooden baseball bat at her home but escaped, authorities said. She was released Friday from a hospital. Barnett said Weis wanted to sell his mother's car and use money in her bank accounts to pay for breast implants for Alsept, 21. Barnett also said the suspects discussed wrapping Hyun Weis' body in plastic and dumping it in the desert in New Mexico or Arizona. All were being held on $50,000 bail. Officials did not know whether they had attorneys and said they couldn't get messages to them. Fountain is about 10 miles south of Colorado Springs.

Coming from the perspective of a dark skin African American, I can recall growing up being teased and made fun of because of my complexion. I used to want to be light or fair skinned. I still get teased about having full lips (that i now hear are so sexy but used to be soup coolers). It was not until I matured that I felt comfortable enough with myself to say it does not matter. I am who I am and I am made in Gods image, and this is the way I am meant to be. We are all different. But to unpack this even more, every bad guy is always black. Everything about the word black has a negative connotation. Black has been taught throughout history to be feared, mysterious, or not as good as white. And I am just talking about the color, not actual people. If you really look at what black means to our vocabulary, how can you expect our children not to have complexes? They choose white because its pure, its heavenly, its love. I remeber reading this old Websters dictionary one day. the copyright was from the 1960's, and i looked up the word black one day and i had a Mississippi burning experience (that moment when you go "yes they deserve to die, and i hope he burn in hell!!!" then hope a white person don't look at you wrong that day, not because you racist, just because you upset about history and don't know how to channel that energy at that moment). The definition was "dark, void of light, evil, not white any person from the Negro race." Then i was inclined to look up nigger. And there it was... and to paraphrase it said a group of people who are black, Negroes, etc. I was like huh? this is in Websters? They printed millions of copies of this and had them in libraries and classrooms across the country. I was like twenty at the time and I had stole THAT dictionary from school. to sum it all up. You gotta teach your kids about who they are. You cant let your child grow up with these complexes that black is ugly and evil. Be conscious of what they watch and listen to because they are sponges soaking all things of media and life in. They are creating ideas and forming thoughts about everything the see and hear. Make sure you mold all that into healthy images of success, life and love. And as Mos Def said, "umi shine your light on the world, shine your light for the world to see.... The wait is over for Alton Logan. Logan was released earlier this year after spending 26 years in prison for a killing another man confessed to. He had been waiting 5 months to see whether prosecutors would retry him. Thursday morning, charges were formally dropped and vacated. Logan had been telling everyone who would listen for the last 26 years he didn't do it and finally he was heard...Earlier this year, lawyers Jamie Kunz and Dale Coventry said that Andrew Wilson — a convicted cop killer who was their client — years ago admitted to them he had killed the man in which Logan was imprisoned for killing. The lawyers said they were bound by attorney-client privilege to keep Wilson's secret until Wilson died in prison last November. What makes this even more FUCKED UP is that Logan can only be awarded up to $200,000 in compensation for his pardon...THAT'S LESS THAN $8,000 A YEAR!!! Logan has admitted he's had a hard time finding a job in construction, building maintenance and plumbing — the fields he's trained for...even after being proved innocent.The justice system can eat a "COCK MEAT SANDWICH" for the way shit is set up! At 55, the prime of his life has been taken from him...priceless time, which he can never get back...time which proved to be costly for his mother, who passed away and he was unable to attended her funeral...That's fucked up, and I'm really hurt by this...$200,000...huh! Another innocent brother taken it up the ass! Between this and watching O.J. pay out $33.5 million after an innocent verdict, I'm looking for a new country to relocate to...

When looking at the landscape of this world it is easy to shake your head or wag a finger in disgust. We stand on the cusp, the precipice of one of the greatest moments in history. We all have defining moments in life where things slow down from the hectic pace that breathing evokes. There is always a second when you see things so clearly and taste the sweet nectar of peace. That second where 2+2 and2x2 is no longer a mystery just an anomaly that coexist to make 4 possible twice. Why question what is beyond our control? Sometimes that reflects is healthy but sometimes it is paralyzing. Breaking the restraints set by society and releasing yourself to dream is the one thing that makes life worth living. I watched what should be this country's proudest moment tonight yet all i hear is commentators question whether president Obama's speech was black enough or if itwas moving enough or if it laid out policies that we realistic enough. Step back and and watch 4 manifest twice and stop questioning how. I am not the largest Barack fan in the world but i never question his commitment to change life as we know it. Sometimes all you need is the dream and the determination to see that manifest itself. At the end ofthe day, we are all dreamers. Some of us never allow ourselves the opportunity to realize those dreams but dont stifle those who choose to explore that forbidden oasis. Embrace the courage it takes to look at life through a kelidescope. See 3D with shades of crayons unknown to most.

THIS HIP HOP SHIT IS A CIRCUS
So me being who I am, and keeping up with the news in this culture we call hip hop... there are a lot of things I have noticed that are just insane to me. It used to be a way of life, now its a circus with a bunch of bafoons performing under the Big Top.
1. We'll start with something I think is down right hilarious... Yung Berg and his former chain! Lmao! Case of a lame woofing at him mouth like a G, and this is what happens, niggas will test your G. And he was casually relieved of his chain and was issued an ass whoopin that I would've wanted none parts of! Lol
2. With that said... rappers and their so called "street cred". I ask this, WTF is street cred and why does it matter if you were a thug in music? Its funny how people will make up alife to be accepted when in all non all that matters. Rick Ross for example... his whole image is made up after an LA drug dealer Freeway Ricky Ross... then he has been cited as working in a correctional officer, then went on record to lie to solidify his "street cred".... loser!
3. Also piggy backing off Yung Berg... the new shit in rap is snatchin niggas jewels??? Word??? That's what's hot? So no more focusing on making music... lets rob everybody and put out bum ass albums! Lol
4. I'ma keep this simple... niggas still beefing??? Big and Pac are dead... didn't these dumb ass rappers learn anything?
5. So the new shit is to do dirt, and put it on youtube? Niggas are convicting themselves. I.E. I seen a vid of Yung Berger's twin brother bustin' off guns and talkin wreckless about what they gon do to others. I heard Juelz got robbed in London and the video of the robbery might surface. I seen Maino smack a dude at a show on youtube. Bow Wow and Game issuing Madden challenges and disrespecting Ciara and Mya all on video? WooooooooooooW!
6. Bow Wow.... Lmfao!!! Need I say more.
7. Drugs are the newest fad. So now its cool to be a powder head, syrup sippin, no sense making rapper?
8. Tight jeans and the 80s movement... I applaud the effort to uphold the "golden years" but at what cost do you decide to catch of yeast infection of the balls for a gimmick? Its a lot of people who base their whole image off this, but when this fad is gone... where will they be? Or better yet what were they doing before this 80s shit was cool? And most of em aren't even 80s babies, you had to live thru the 80s... being born in 88 doesn't count... sorry!

MARRY YOU??? SMITCH PLEASE!!!
So, this weekend I had the honor of watching one of my buddies sign his freedom papers away. The wedding was beautiful with great singing and a charasmatic pastor officiating the ceremony...it was off the hook! During the reception, I set at a table with about seven ladies and I and another brother were the only males. The ladies were so respectful and sweet while we sat and ate, we also enjoyed conversations that were fit for the occasion. Many of the ladies expressed a longing desire to be married and enjoy their special day. After a while, the ladies expressed their many frustrations with their significant others, and with men in general. The main gripe was that they felt unappreciated, and went above and beyond to be good women to only come out unmarried and almost 30. Me being who I am, I wasn't buying NONE of that shit, cause I was born at night, NOT last night (plus I can smell a hoe a mile away)...So, I continued to listen, and I also watched these chix scratch and scrap to catch the bride's bouquet...it was pitiful. After these lovely events took place the DJ shouted out 5 words that would not only prove my suspicions about these women to be correct, but also go on to make me look like a modern day prophet...THE BAR IS NOW OPEN...it wasn't long before these sophisticated women were on the dance floor with dresses pulled up, asses showing, even kissing while elderly people sat and watched! Correct me if I'm wrong, but they didnt look like the marrying type...My point is, maybe ladies should stop blaming men for not marrying them and take a look in the mirror. Be HONEST in your self evaluation, and ask yourself...DO I DESERVE TO BE SOMEBODIES WIFE? I didn't mean to judge, but HOE charges are pending...I bang my gavel GUILTY!!! plz give me your thoughts...
