GOT CHO ASS

This question was posed on Fr3sh Talk last week but I think it may have breezed by a lot of people due to the pure "realness" of the show (please listen on headphones when you are at work). How many of you have messed with somebody knowing that you were the side dip and you effed around and caught feelings for the person that you were messing with?? On top of that, you started to get mad/jealous of the main one even though you knew you were a side dip in the first place? Were you ever guilty of thinking your sex or whatever it is that you do was good enough to sway the person to be with you exclusively?? Holla at us...

I can't contribute, I've never knowingly been a side dip.

Here is all I have to say about this:

Guys, if you intention is for the girl to JUST be a dip, then TREAT HER LIKE A DIP! This is how and why feelings get involved in the first place, and then jealousy comes into play. Yea, i played the role, but because of the way he treated me, I wouldn't necessarily say I was the 'side dip'... I'd actually say this nigga listened to a lot of R. Kelly and knows how to live the double life.

People don't catch feeling for someone they don't spend time with, so for someone to catch feelings, there had to be a legitimate amount of time spent between these two ppl. Once again, guys, if you want her to be JUST A DIP, i advise that you view the BOOTY CALL AGREEMENT somewhere on this blogspot, have it filled out and signed by the other party that way u have a set contract with rules and regulations. When you spend so much time with someone of the opposite sex, its only natural when feelings are involved that u think EVERYTHING u 'do' is good enough to sway the person to be exclusive with you, whether there's someone else or not.

And of course the other is gonna get mad/jealous (DUH)! Someone else is getting the time that you feel like you deserve! Its like, yea, I cooked this meal, but its ok to let someone else eat it.... :-/

It depends on the type of time spent...If a man comes over for a couple of hours and you guys talk, and he's telling you nice things and given you compliments, thats not quality time...you're just being prepped for intercourse! With men, it is what it is. If you ever agree to be the side chick, your slot is echted in STONE. That is all you will ever be(with him)...when you acted up and complain about not being promoted, most men will lie to you and give you a sense of hope by giving you the indication that his relationship is on the rocks..NOT TRUE! You're being strung along...if I guy tells you the truth, honestly he doesnt feel you're worth keeping around...

But yeah, I done it before...I think men do a better job keepin feelings in check...long as we still get to fuck we cool with that...Why get jealous? We doing just as much as her guy with less of that relationship headache...

So with all this said... what are the rules as far as seniority between the dips and mains. Hypothetically, if you're a dip, and the persons gets rid of their main, are you now the main, and he must search for a new dip? Or are you forever locked in as the official dip even when a new main arises?

I believe that the respect level is never gonna be there for a person that settles for second...if u didnt demand the top spot from jump, you wont have that man's respect. In relationships u finish the way u start...simply, you will never be looked at as main material by that man because you allowed him to do as he pleased and still have the luxury of sleeping with you...there was no challenge, no boundaries set. If it ever evolved into more, he'd cheat on you for the rest of your relationship...oh yeah, he knows you cant be trusted either...look how you helped him cheat on his girl! Men figure you'll do the same thing with someone else

Al, everything you said is soooo true. That chick can never ever be the main, there is no level of respect... You couldn't have typed that any better!!!!

My question is... why does the "dip" have to be a she???

Austin August 19, 2008 at 1:35 AM

It would be a lil' rainbow sherbert for me to direct it towards a male! I was just giving my take from a male point of view...
