JAIL HOUSE ROCK
So, in my many ghetto escapades I've encountered countless women who have dated men while they were incarcerated... This is by far one of the strangest and most naive situations I've ever seen. There's no physical contact, and the woman is deprived of the very thing that keeps her heart beating... ATTENTION!!! I know I'll catch it for that statement, but its true! Show me a woman who doesn't like attention from her man, and I'll show you a lying, cheatin', sneaky whore that's sleeping around! I'm just serious... but really, what makes a woman stay with a man thats serving a long prison term... and don't give me that LOVE shit either! In the many words of women across the world "Whats Love Got To Do With It!!!"

On the positive tip, sometimes the fellas really didn't do it and just caught a bad hand from the law, so the woman isn't going to stop loving him because the justice system is corrupt.
I have an aunt who waited for her man to get out of prison and they're living happily ever after. Now, I can't do it, but to each her own.
I have 2 close family memebers that are early 30's and have been locked up off and on since they were teens! Nothing has changed but the women who put money on their books

It's like this, if a dude keeps gettin locked up, or is doing a long stretch chances are those are the consequences of his actions... in most cases its not a mistake that they're in there... so to the woman who support em, it's ass backwards to me, cuase those are the same ones preaching about wanting a better life and this and that, but loving this man, sending him promises via mail and visits, but end up frustrated with men because you can't find a good one, but look at what you are holding on to....
I had a chick, we used to kick it, she used to always be at me about how she need a good man to be there and lead... but then I find out she was accepting calls and writing a dude in jail, promises of them being together, like WTF!!! He been locked up for drugs time and time, but this is the man you want to lead you.. dont get me wrong I don't judge the D-boys, I was once one of them, but when I was out there, by no means was I ready to lead a woman and a family, I wasn't even making a living doing something I was proud of... so in the end, I think it has something to do with the women misguiding themselves on what they need versus what they want!

I have a friend who met someone 3months before he went to jail for 3years....and she has vowed to wait for him she say he's her soulmate,(WTF) and she is trying to go down there to marry him cause soon as he got there he asked her..and she making life plans with this nigga....she keeps money on his books, keep the phone card paid, and catches the bus twice a month to see that bum....in the meantime she has got evicted just not paying rent and now lives with her sis...no car,no job...all on her adopted children money!!!!I know they say "never say never" but i will never wait on someone if he is doing stupid ish to go to jail im not messing with him in the first place! I have to have a grown man making grown man decision!!!hell, with money on your books! I need money on my rent!!!LOL

look... its very simple.. they want that DICK.. everybody heard the rumors about when a dude fr3sh out the joint he got a lot of built up frustration.. and here is the kicker and really the reason. some women want a project. they want to feel needed and validated by helping him to reform. then there is some who just make so many bad decisions that this just goes along with the rest. and there are some who want that control. if dude in and out he probably on house arrest. she can do as she please fuck who she want and come home to jailhouse dick. if he get to crazy she threaten his ass with the law... her crazy ass think she controling the situation..
Mannnn, If i can't be in a relationship w a some1 that's five hours away...AND we see each other *and have contact* like every couple of months or so...then why would i be off that jail house rock?!!??! I'll pass...I don't have the patience....ain't that much love in the world!

@ nate, you are SO right about women wanting a project. Everyone wants to say they had a hand in the recovery of someone. Except, like y'all said most of these dudes don't recover. It's crazy at its finest.

If I was wit my man before he went in ..Yes Imma stay with him if I believe he is innocent...When you love someone gettin sex and attention don't matter cuz ur focus is on the person you love....But ain't no way in hell I'm gonna talk to no dude already locked up??? I got a relative that had 5 women beggin him to come live with them when he gets out (on probation with a felony and NO JOB!!) So Sad
This is a tricky one!! Some females don't have anything or anyone but that man that is locked up and in prison! Some women can take a year or two or less than that and be eazy especially if they have a million and one things to keep them busy!
Some females think it's cute to have a man in prison! FYI not so cute!! and some women keep it goin for their kids and some say that that's their man in jail but we all know she got another one on the side and when he gets out act like he neve existed!
