So I'm listening to the radio and there is a weekly 'battle of the artist" contest going on...the 2 artist were Mary J. Blige vs. Lauryn Hill!!! Are you fuckin' serious! Thats enough pressure to make Mary's wack ass start getting high again! L Boogie will forever be the H.B.I.C simply because she was a TRUE ARTIST!!! Not some hoodrat singing songs somebody else already made famous... I was personally offended by the comparison... What yall think?

Yeah, they done did it now...I am a Mary fan and an L-Boogie fan as well, but NO comparison what so ever. Matter fact, I was listening to "The Breakthrough" in the car this morning. Even though Lauryn Hill only had one major solo album, it is a CLASSIC and nothing out there is comparable. Dang, they just wanted to start some stuff...

Lauryn??? first off I liked Mary in the early days when she had problems and KC was driving her crazy that's when she had a lot to sing about...now her music is wack as hell, im not feeling her at all...But Lauryn drops one major album and gets compared to someone who has how many? it took her all those albums to even get close to Lauryn....With her lyrics and vocals she fux Mary up, there is no comparison and there will never be! LAURYN HILL is the winner!!!!maybe if Mary smoke a lil weed and find a better writer she can give us back the old mary but it still won't fux with Lauryn!!!!!!
Yall women kill me, when Mary was all fucked up & going thru some things that yall can relate to...that then was the time to fux with anything she had to say.....now that she is Drama~Free, or Happy so to speak...there is nothing more you can say about the music she does in the present day! I agree Lauryn Hill will slice & Dice anyday with that 1 album.....but i thought i should point that out....
Maybe they shoudlve compared Mary with Keiysha Cole....because i see the same things going on with her as i did Mary back in the day...she accepted right now cause of the life struggle in her music.

Mary sux now cuz she aint singin songs that were previously hits before. But that My Life album was off the chain to me... damn near all remakes but it was my favorite Mary album. L Boog... if you dont know then you are obviously lacking major shit in your life!

Mary been wack since day 1! Cant sing, cant dance! All she got goin for her is that big ass that she dont appreciate! Every video she got you never get a close up or a shot of that ass! I was just listening to miseducation and unplugged last week going through a thing. she is just tooooo talented for her own good. I like mary though. she got a lot of songs i love but dont sleep on her self titled album and the album with rkelly feature. both those albums was hot too but penn hit on the head with the my life. CLASSIC! most def one of the albums that shaped the way i listen to music. but she aint no L
Although I liked Mary when she was on the drugs....she still PALES in comparison to Lauryn!!!
Don't get me wrong Mary can go and she def made a name for herself through what she has been through, but L-Boogie can neva be touched! Mary has nothing on her period! L-Boogie spoke dat real and her runs are ridiculous!!!
