MAN KILLS OVER CHILD SUPPORT
New Orleans, LA -- The superintendent of the New Orleans police department says a man who allegedly killed his 21/2-year-old son over child support is a "sick" individual. Police Superintendent Warren Riley told a news conference that Platt had said he would either kill his wife or his child before he would pay child support. Riley says Danny Platt initially told police gunmen kidnapped his son. Riley says Platt was arrested Saturday and eventually confessed and told authorities where to find the body. Riley says Platt's kidnap tale never added up and he was a suspect from the beginning. Although he had visiting rights, Platt had never visited the boy before picking him up Friday. Riley says Platt had only a couple of "very minor" previous arrests.

This is so sad and tragic. I'm sitting here with my mouth wide open. I just can't believe it.
I really don't understand why people have childern if they know for a fact that they don't want them. This is similiar to the Caylee case her momma didn't want her so u kill the three yr old girl!!?? Maybe if he was being a father to his child and not effin' up so much the momma wouldn't of took him to court for child support!! Men need to understand the minute u eff up and don't support ur child like u should the child support is a coming! If you know that u are not ready to be a father or a mother then u need to wrap it up or take other precautions dealing with ur situation of bringing a child into this world.
