Ite.. how long does it take to fall in LOVE!!! Real talk I been dealing with a few women for YEARS that I still don't love! I may love the shit we do together, but other than that, if they were to tell me the jig was up... DEUCES!!! So is it sincere to tell a person you only been dating for a short while that you love them? I consider being in love as being able to be with the opposite sex without having to be sexually engaged... so could you really be involved with someone knowing that aint no sex jumpin off??? Plz comment...dont lie either!!!

There is a huge difference between loving a person and being "in love". I love pizza, I love summer, I love you! To me, being in love is being able to committ to a person 100%, wanting the best for that person, and still being able to love yourself and want to be a better person for you and your future with that person.
So, no, I don't think you can fall "in love" with a person shortly after meeting them. You can love what they are about, what they stand for, how they treat you, etc...but you don't even know them! It could all be a front and then what. And honestly, you might not ever really know a person, but only time can tell that.

There is a huge diff between the 2 and some folks just dont get it. You know the saying "I love you but Im not in love with you" Is a true statement. People know the difference cause that word gon get you hurt. Love at first sight? Nah dont think so!

I know a girl like that now! She all in love, he does in fact love her but he hasnt gotten to the "In love" phase just yet! He's not quite ready but she puts it out there for the world to know and he dont like that!!! well......

I question what the hell love is. I dont think I have ever been in that serious love that I hear about. the one that makes you kill people, slash tires and all that. I have never been there. I think it exist and maybe one day it will find me, but i dont use that word. I process information and try to come up with a qualitative and quantitative rationale for my emotions that i rarely have. because you dont hate a muthatfucka or you aint redy for them to leave right after you fuck dont mean you in love. just mean you like em more than usual.
sooooo i concur with Lachael, love and "in love" are two different things. my definition is a little different tho. love is when u care about someone almost or just as much as u do yourself. IN love is caring about someone MORE than you care about yourself. neither one is possible at first sight, they both take time and lots of effort, which is the reason why so many people try and avoid getting to that point. love can make u crazy! but falling in love?? OH OH OHHHH (like Beyonce), that's 10 times worse!! there's nothing worse than putting the wants and needs of another person before your own and not thinking twice about it, and then it slaps you in the face one Thursday morning...surpriiiiise, divorce time!!!
don't get me wrong, being in love is a beautiful thing when TIME AND EFFORT are involved. NOT a random walk in the park when u bump into a random guy and "sparks" fly. NOT REAL.

Some ppl always confuse the two! Love and Lust are two different things! And when u are in that moment it's best just to be quiet! Don't tell the girl/guy u love em cuz in reality u probably really don't but because u were in that moment it felt like the right thing to say!
