BET AWARDS 08
Man... let's call a spade a spade that was easily one of the worst Bet Award Shows in the history of the show from top to bottom. DL Hughley was horrible, Usher seemed washed up and a step slow... Hell, all I can remember is Alicia Keys bringin all the past girl groups back which was hot (did anybody notice how short A Keys arms are??), the waterfall Chris Brown had was hot (his performance was better than Usher, and I'm personally in a state of wtf b/c of that) and that's all I remember. Out of 3.5 hours that's what BET put together for us, huh??? WOW... I mean, did anybody like this impostor award show?? And if you like it, I might have to come to your job or home and slap you sternly so that you feel my angst lol... I'm just serious...

agreed! Lil Wayne was too high for life, T-pain & that clown *ish...need i say more, Ashanti had a dress on that i know is on my T-Shirt rack, & Luda (???) who wears egg-shell bottoms in 08? Rick Ross & that ashy belly! Performance & wardrobe was yucky! boooo
And I watched it from start to finish (somethin I said I wasn't gonna do) and it was clearly not even worth my time. DL messed up introducing so many ppl and that lil girl from the Hills was reading the teleprompter and she really read the "..." and said "dot dot dot" are you serious with yo life right now??? lol
I haven't seen it yet... but from all the reviews... I don't think I even wanna see that shit... I guess it aint gon be good til we on that bitch!!!!

That shit was wack!!! but Alicia Keys is soooooo thick, she saved the day for me...even tho' she was actin real phony with that long acceptance speech...damn she got a ass!!! The Al Green tribute with Jill Scott, A Hamilton, and Maxwell was kinda dope too
Penn....myyyy nigga....when that trick sed "dot dot dot" I was like WTF!!I was so embarrassed for her!!! lol...well not really...but and not on no hatin shit but nxt time when A.keys wear spanx (them shorts she had on under that dress that you seen when she was walkin up the steps..which is a girdle) I hope that she is a little more careful not to show it.
And if it wasnt for CIARA, Chris brown performance would have sucked...(thats my GIRL)
O...one last thing...
its a given that weezi was most likely high...but TPAIN had to be too...HIGH people the only people I know that move in slow motion....and Kanye had to be gone too...He was wack...straight messed up Jeezy performance
Kanye performance was wack cuz they tried 2 put the voice effect on his pefromance live and its hard to do and he did the opening line 2 his verse three times."I feel like its still N^ggas that owe me checks I feel like its still B^tchs that owe me sex". If u didn't get anything else from last nite u got that. To sum it up the Bet Awards 08 was the last performance on 106 and park before the show started, it was "Silly"
I didnt even Watch.. I got better shit to do with my time.. BET is the devil. Every since they were bought by Viacom they have become more and more Mad Niggarish!!! They do that shit to cater to a market that has been stereotyped and picked for all that dumbness to satisfy them and pasify them. Make them feel its ok to be an idiot because i saw a bunch of rich ones on tv last nite... Boycott BET!!! I literally havent watched that shit in about 7 months. Like No Bull Shit!! I dont wanna see the bafoonery (I wish i knew how to spell that)

So, I'm late cuz I refused to watch the awards show live. DVR is my best bud :) I fast-forwarded through the bullsh*t and of the 20 min that I actually did watch...BET step ur game up! What was up with those wack/corny/sterotypical sgements that introduced the nominess. "Hot line/Hot verse/Hot comb" GTFOH! The performances were ok...Highlight was when SWV, En Vogue, and TLC performed with A. Keys. But why did most of those chicks look like they weren't about to be on national television? I would've had to do the lemonade diet if I was going to be on TV after 10 years of not being seen! Lol (It's not my fault, I blame Hollywood)
