If you only had 10$ and you walked into (insert place you go to buy cds) and you could only buy one CD, which would it be. The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill or Reasonable Doubt???
As much as I love HOV I gotta go with Lauryn Hill. I think Blueprint was a better album than Reasonable Doubt anyway but musically... Lauryn Hill hands down
Ok... so Penn I have to disown you for sayin Reasonable Doubt is a lesser album than the Blueprint... lol. But as a fan of them both, I think I was have to choose Reasonable Doubt for the simple fact I can relate to the album more. It has sentimental value with me cause at the time, I was living Reasonable Doubt, but at the same time... I also love L. Boogie's album... this is a hard decision... so I would say this... I'd buy one and steal the other one! Hahahahahahahahaha!
I got to go with HOV...The Miseducation tricked me into believing I was in love with someone...Music can put you in a place that you are far from...real talk...Im goin with Lauryn
Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, hands down. I love HOV, and Reasonable Doubt was a GREAT album, but Lauryn Hill can do it all. She's more versatile with her sounds and lyrics. She can sing, rap, do spoken word, all that... AND she has stuff to talk about!! Why did she have to go nuts and push out all them Marley babies?!?! LOL.
As much as I love miseducation...I'm gonna be the odd ball and say Reasonable Doubt because thats one of my fav albums of all time. I could listen to more songs on that cd than I can on Lauryn's...
ok... as I have listened to both repeatedly till the point where I have had to re up em both (Like water for Chocolate by Common and Life after Death by Biggie being the only other cds I have PURCHASED more times)I gotta go with The first lady of hip hop. that album litterally changed lives. I know folks who were walking around empowered and motivated by Zion! the diversity and intricate arrangments of the album was crazy. she not only was lyrical with mad content but the production was timeless and classic. name 1 song on the album that was skippible. I think i just made skippible up too, and if i didnt give me my moment. and breeze, blueprint was better... That album alone changed me from a casual hip hop listener into a crazed i gotta hear the latest "lil brother" ass dude i am now
